Dust Extraction System:
Dry air dust extraction system captures
airborne dust from its source. The captured
dust is then transported to a dust collector
(usually bag filter), which cleans the dust-laden
air. Bag Filters are one of the most efficient
and cost effective types of dust collectors
available and can achieve a collection efficiency
of more than 99% for very fine particles.
We provide pulse-jet type bag houses where
individual bags are supported by a metal cage
which is fastened on to the bag holding plate.
Dirty gas flows from outside to inside the
bag while the metal cage prevents the bag
from collapsing. Bags are cleaned by a short
burst of compressed air injected through a
common manifold. This compressed air burst
while travelling through the entire length
of the bag causes the bag surface to flex,
which breaks the dust cake and the dislodged
dust falls into a storage hopper below.
Cyclonic separation:
Cyclonic separation is a method of removing
particulates from an air, gas or water stream,
without the use of filters, through vortex
separation. Rotational effects and gravity
are used to separate mixtures of solids and
fluids.
A high speed rotating (air) flow is established
within a cylindrical or conical container
called a cyclone. Air flows in a spiral pattern,
beginning at the top (wide end) of the cyclone
and ending at the bottom (narrow) end before
exiting the cyclone in a straight stream through
the center of the cyclone and out the top.
Larger (denser) particles in the rotating
stream have too much inertia to follow the
tight curve of the stream and strike the outside
wall, falling then to the bottom of the cyclone
where they can be removed. In a conical system,
as the rotating flow moves towards the narrow
end of the cyclone the rotational radius of
the stream is reduced, separating smaller
and smaller particles.

We have been providing Dust Extraction systems
incorporating centrifugal fan, bag filter
unit, dry/wet cyclone, rotary air lock, screw
conveyor, MS ducting, motorized dampers etc.
as per client's requirement. Our design engineers
are well equipped to custom design a dust
extraction system if provided with relevant
input data and drawings. We have always successfully
met the emission level of dust stipulated
by the Pollution Control Board.
